Waku Doki is about tropes and cliches. The concept is to make a character based on a "dere" archetype, make it your own, and have fun in the process.

The premise was formed from two things.

Me going “haha wouldn’t it be funny to have a bunch of batshit feral anime cliche characters all trapped together”.

The concept is, quite simply, to create something fun and cheesy and self-indulgent and have a nice time.
CONCEPT
Waku Doki takes place in a fictional Japanese college, Wakabayashi University. It is a middle-class university, not particularly luxurious but it’s well-respected.

The school itself is located on the edge of Wakabayashi, a small city with decades of history under its belt.
In the densest parts of the city, you'll find several appartment complexes. Further out you'll find well-established neighborhoods, and a combination of old and new architecture, a WacDonalds here and there, and a 711 on every other corner.
One could just as easily bike ride to a conbini as they could to the countryside. The beach, however, is a decent train ride away.

The dorms, while not spacious, are comfortable. Each room has two beds with soft linnens, a wardrobe, a large dresser, and a computer desk with a chair.
There are communal washrooms in each hall, and a communal kitchen and living area in the dormitories with all the amenities one would need.
